Bible Reading: John 8:31-38
Memory verse: John 8:32, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Let me ask you, If I tell you I hate your dress, does that mean I hate you? Committing sin is like putting on a dress, you can decide with God’s help to take it off. Many Christians today have been muffled by the adversary. He is going around trying to intimidate the children of God, like bullies do. A good example is the homosexual and abortion agenda. They hold parades and carry signs saying what they are doing is okay. They control the media because the devil is the prince of the power of the air, and if you expose yourself to the circular media, the message is clear that sex in any form is okay. If you get pregnant, it is not a baby until it is born; therefore, you are free to eliminate the innocent baby. Unfortunately, many believers are silent because they claim they don’t want to offend people. Frankly, the “don’t ask, don’t tell” principle that some Christians adopt just won’t cut it. The cross is in itself offensive, it is a stumbling block. It is not that we don’t want to offend, but rather are afraid of being attacked. Remember that when you speak up for righteousness, you will be saving the next generation. Honestly, do you have to go to a psychologist to help you know something as basic as your sex, whether you are a male, female, questioning, queer or something different?. It is time for the voice of the church to be heard speaking the Word if not, we will lose this generation.
Be a role model of truth and Christian purity. No matter how insignificant you may think you are, shine your little candle light, and push back this darkness. Speaking the truth in love is one of the most loving things you can do to someone, but if it is called homophobic, that is the lie of the devil. Hating a sin or a lifestyle does not equal hating the individual committing sin.
