Bible Reading: Romans 12:1-3
Memory verse: 2 Peter 3:17, “You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked.”
Our ability to stand in these last days is dependent on our growth in Christ. As living beings, evidence of life is growth. Here Peter instructs us to grow in grace and knowledge of Christ. The word of God is where we get knowledge and it is also called our bread/food. When you stop growing you start dying. When you don’t feed on the word, you will be led into error in your thinking through the things the enemy has put in place around you. We all know that Satan isn’t omnipresent but we blame him for every sin we commit. How is it that he can be responsible for all sins? The mindsets that we have developed over time through what we have been assimilating are actually what lead us in to sin. Satan doesn’t need to be there to make us sin, we do them as a habit. He works through people and the evil systems. So, stay in grace, soak up the word, stand strong and live a vibrant Christian life that will glory our saviour.
