Bible Reading: Exodus 16:10-24
Special Verse: Psalm 119:105
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Have you noticed that no matter how much you eat the night before, when you wake up the following morning, you will be hungry. The physical can help us understand spiritual principles. This is why God gave Israel every morning while in the wilderness. In the same way he wants us to receive spiritual food from him daily. Jesus asked his disciples to pray that the Father provides daily bread for them. Seeking God daily for spiritual food is crucial to a healthy spiritual life.
Yesterday's revelation will not sustain you today in the same way yesterday’s dinner will not stop you from needing food the next morning. That is why even if you attend a heavily anointed meeting for a week and come out fired up, your fire will die if you don't continue to seek God daily for yourself. We all have a responsibility to dwell in his presence daily/continuously. You will receive as much spiritual nourishment as you need or desire. Nothing else will take its place not even the laying of hands by great men of GOD.
