Don’t Let Satan Influence Your Life

Don’t Let Satan Influence Your Life

BIBLE READING: Romans 13:1-9

Special Verse: 1 Timoty 2: 1-2

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

In a time when Satan seeks to influence our thinking and lead us into his way of seeing things, it’s crucial for God’s people to hold fast to biblical standards. Many messages in the media aim to shift our values subtly, often by appealing to our emotions and sympathies. Yet, God reminds us that what is right remains right, regardless of any excuses we might make. We must not compromise our values based on circumstances. Now, more than ever, the church must rise to be the church—praying for our nation and its leaders, not condemning them.

If believers unite in prayer, asking God to fulfill His purpose through our leaders, goodness will reach us no matter who is in authority. It’s time to repent of the negative talk and gossip that can hinder God’s healing in our land. I have decided to speak in a way that honors God, keeping my words aligned with His standards and avoiding any unwholesome talk. No one is perfect, so let’s give our leaders a fair opportunity to succeed.
