Dwell In, Don’t Visit

Dwell In, Don’t Visit

Bible Reading: Psalm 91

Memory verse: Psalm 91:1, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

The secret place of the Most High is his word. When we stay in his word, making it our dwelling place, not a place we visit occasionally, the Almighty becomes our covering and we are protected from evil. Dwelling in the secret place is a choice and takes discipline.

We are also required to “say of the Lord.” Unfortunately, most people do not proclaim from their mouth who Go is to them. Most times they talk about what is going on around us. By speaking about God, we will experience all the promises made in Psalm 91. God is a faithful God but our words must agree with his words to fully experience his goodness.

Today do not use your words to describe your problems but rather use them to change the situation by speaking what God has promised. As you continue to do this watch Psalm 91 happen in your life.
