Bible Reading : Psalm 23
Special Verse
“Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” — Hebrews 3:8
Message
God’s desire for you is not stress—it is rest.
From the very beginning, God created a finished world before placing Adam in it. Everything was already provided. In the same way, through Christ, God has already made provision for your life.
So why do many believers struggle with worry and anxiety?
The answer is found in the story of the Israelites. Despite seeing God’s miracles, they hardened their hearts through unbelief and could not enter His rest. God’s intention was that they would trust him and let him lead them into the land of Canaan where they would have experienced abundance and peace. Unfortunately, they believed their eyes more than God and refused to let God shepherd them. When our hearts are hardened, we can’t trust God’s word. A hardened heart is simply a heart that struggles to trust God.
When you don’t trust God:
-
You begin to rely on your own strength
-
You look for worldly solutions first
-
You live in anxiety instead of peace
But God is calling you to something higher—to trust Him fully as your source. Do you realize that there is no lack in God? If you truly believe that he created the whole universe, what then can be impossible with him?
He is your Shepherd. That means:
-
He guides you
-
He provides for you
-
He takes responsibility for your care
Reflection
