Bible Reading: Mark 4: 13-20
Memory verse: Galatians 6:9, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do no lose heart.”
Many people blame God when bad things happen to them. Another thing we do is say God is judging us for our sins. However, more critical at play in our lives, is the principle of sowing and reaping. You must be joking if you plant apple seeds and expect to reap bananas. If in our lives or as a nation, we take God out of our lives how do we expect to reap his blessings. If we plant his word in our lives, we will reap the benefits. Invest in your spiritual growth and reap the benefits of eternal life which is abundant life. Our outcomes are evident of what we have been planting. If you don’t like what you are reaping change what you are planting.
There is no plant that produces fruit after a week. The fastest producers are weeds and have little economic value. All plants take a good period of time to produce valuable fruit. Don’t be discouraged when you don’t see positive results overnight. Keep planting the good seed because you will reap if you don’t give up.
