BIBLE READING :JOHN 5: 40-44

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Walking in faith demands that we say and do things that look stupid to the natural man. This is because the natural man can't understand the things of God. It follows that when you are more conscious of people's opinion about you, you won't be willing to say or do such "stupid" things. When our only desire is to glorify God in our behavior, we won't be afraid to believe the promises of God. The truth is that the approval of men is a snare.
My greatest desire is to please God in all I do. I know in so doing, I can experience the abundant life Jesus died to provide me. I have made up my mind that what people think about me can never be compared with God's opinion. Faith is what pleases God not human opinion.
