Bible Reading: Mark 11:20-25
Special Verse: Matthew 17:20
— “If you have faith as a mustard seed… nothing will be impossible for you.”
Message
Many believers struggle with unanswered prayers, especially in areas like healing. It’s easy to assume the issue is a lack of faith—but often, the deeper issue is faith mixed with unbelief.
You may be confessing God’s Word one moment, but entertaining fear, doubt, or negative reports the next. This mixture weakens your faith. Just like clean water becomes contaminated with even a drop of impurity, faith becomes ineffective when it is blended with unbelief.
Jesus made it clear that even a small amount of pure faith can move mountains. The problem is not the size of your faith—it’s the mixture within it. When your heart is divided, you become double-minded, and the Bible says that person should not expect to receive.
Pure faith speaks only what God says. It rests in peace. It refuses to imagine defeat.
Reflection
-
Are your words and thoughts aligned with God’s promises, or are they mixed with fear and doubt?
-
What negative voices are influencing your faith?
Prayer
Father, help me to see how I am doubting you. Help me to stand firmly on Your Word and trust You completely. I choose to believe You without wavering. Amen.
