We are a product of what we feed our minds. In 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 we see that it is the thoughts and mindsets within us that hold us captive and must be pulled down. The enemy's strategy is to shape our minds with limiting beliefs. He does this through the information we receive.
Today we get a lot of the information that shapes us through the media. In these last days there is a battle for mind control and it is being achieved via the internet, cellphones and television. A good example is the pop culture being sold to the world. Globally, see young people dressing in the same way and singing the same music. These have resulted in the rise of immorality globaly.
Any serious minded Christian must willingly and tactically disconnect from the media by limiting exposure. This is because Satan can not influence you if he doesn't start with your thoughts.
So start today to ask questions before flipping on the television or watching something on the internet. There is a lot of media sewage flowing, don't make your mind the dumping ground.
