Bible Reading : Matthew 2
Special Verse: Matthew 2:14
"And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way."
Throughout history, God has relied on ordinary people to fulfill His extraordinary plans. From the Old Testament, individuals like Moses, Isaiah, and David boldly delivered seemingly ridiculous prophecies about the coming Messiah. In the New Testament, others like Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, and the wise men played pivotal roles in Jesus' life and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
Their obedience and courage made the first coming of the Messiah possible, but God’s plan isn’t finished. For Jesus to return, God is still seeking people willing to play their part in orchestrating His divine purposes. His plan includes you.
Like the wise men, we need to be attuned to God’s voice and ready to obey, even when it requires stepping out in faith. Obeying God often means choosing faith over fear—taking bold actions despite uncertainty, trusting that God is with us.
The beauty of following God’s plan is that our obedience will be recorded in His book for all eternity. Just as the wise men’s actions were immortalized, your role in advancing God’s kingdom will echo in eternity. Listen for His voice, obey, and embrace the honor of being part of His divine story.
