Bible Reading: Hebrews 11: 1-6
Memory verse: Romans 4:20, “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith and giving glory to God.”
In time past, I used to believe that when things really get difficult, God would have to do something for me to stay encouraged. However, I know better, I am learning to use the word as my source of encouragement. This is because, it is more real than the things that happen in the natural that excite us momentarily. Faith in the word is the evidence we do not see, feel or taste. You don’t need a sign that God is working on your behalf all you need is the promises in scripture.
Job’s case is a good example of a situation in which things just kept getting worse but he never let go of God’s word or his faith in God. However, in one day things turned around big time. Always remember that regardless of what you see, God is working out things for you. Keep rejoicing and praising God for your answer because it shall come to pass. Trust GOD.
