His Poverty My Wealth

His Poverty My Wealth

Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 8:4-9

Memory verse: Isaiah 1:19, “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best of the land...”

Jesus becoming human and being born in a manger was falling from royalty to penury. In heaven he walked on streets of gold, with gates made with precious stones. On earth he walked on dusty streets. He had to cloth himself with frail humanity and be subject to his own creation. That was the only way he could legally qualify to be payment for our sin. By taking our place on the cross and hell, he provided a place for us in heaven. He qualified us to be partakers of God’s divine nature. We are now seated in heavenly places with Christ JESUS at the right hand of God Almighty. This position gives us access to every spiritual blessing. We use these spiritual blessings to change and produce material blessings.

It gives God pleasure when we enjoy the good things of life. T hat actually makes him look like a good father which he is. No good father that has the means wants to see his children struggle and lack finances. We use knowledge of scriptural principles to access wealth, one is being willing and obedient to eat the good of the land.
