It’s not lack of faith but corrupted faith

It’s not lack of faith but corrupted faith

BIBLE READING : MARK 11:20-24

Special Verse: Matthew 17:20

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”Matthew 17:20

When I changed jobs, a friend and former colleague did something touching that left a lasting impression. She held my hand, opened my palm, and placed a few tiny mustard seeds in it. She reminded me that all I needed was faith that size. This morning, facing the mountain of challenges in my life and new job, I thought back to her gesture.

One profound truth I’ve learned is that my issue isn’t a lack of faith, but rather faith mixed with doubt. Many Christians believe God is faithful but still wonder why their prayers go unanswered. The truth is, we all have faith—it’s the faith we used when we accepted salvation, and it didn’t vanish afterward. Satan knows he can’t take our faith, so he tries to corrupt it with doubt. Often, we unknowingly speak negativity, which hinders our faith and blocks our answers. Today, pay close attention to what you say; make sure your words align with your expectations and God’s promises. Don’t give up—stay the course, and you will reap the fruits of your faith.
