Bible Reading: John 14:6-14
Memory verse: 1 John 4: 6, “We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us.”
The spirit of the antichrist has gone into the world and speaks the world’s view point but John is telling us to listen to the things being told us in the scripture because we are born of God and have overcome it. To live a victorious life we must be careful who we are listening to.
The spirit of the antichrist is any spirit that speaks contrary to the word of God, and if you listen to it, you will be defeated. So, be aware of all the voices that inform you, check them in line with the written word. Never believe the lie that you are too conservative. Jesus’ views were ultraconservative. He never said or did anything to please people. He made it clear that he was the only way, the only truth and the only source of life. Because he spoke with authority, he stood out and was different from the religious leaders of his time.
If you are born of God, he lives in you, so speak like him. We are born to reign in life, do not let the fear of the antichrist spirit paralyze you. God is on the throne and we are seated with him there.
