Bible Reading: Psalm 2:1-4
Memory verse: Psalm 2:4, “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision.”
You may wonder why life appears to be one problem after the other. The simple reason is that Satan never stops trying to harm us, regardless of how you trashed him in the past. Therefore, understand that it is the devil’s character to plot and try to take us down if he could. This should no longer come as a surprise to us. God’s reaction is to laugh and scoff at the enemy. The Holy Spirit advised me to do the same thing whenever it appears all hell is coming against me because I am enthroned in heaven with him. Remember that Jesus has put Satan under his feet, and the church is the body of Christ.
If you learn this principle of laughing at your challenges and remembering you are above them, there will be no reason for stress related illnesses. Do not take trouble too seriously, you are an overcomer. Proverbs 17:22 tells us that a merry heart does good, like medicine. Even science has proven that laughter helps release chemicals in your body that can help heal you. Take time today to laugh. It is well with you. Laughter is the best medicine for stress.
