Let God be your source not your job.

Let God be your source not your job.

EXODUS: 36:1-5

Special Verse: Philippians 4:19

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Do not look to your job as your ultimate source—it was never meant to be. During their journey through the wilderness, the children of Israel had no jobs, yet God provided all their needs. He gave them manna from heaven, water from the rock, and even ensured their clothes and shoes did not wear out. Through this, God was teaching them that “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord” (Deuteronomy 8:3).

Despite having no steady income, the Israelites were able to give so generously toward the building of the tabernacle that Moses had to stop them from bringing more offerings. This demonstrates that when we trust God as our source, He not only meets our needs but also enables us to be a blessing to others.

Today, ask God to open your eyes to see Him as your true source. Pray for wisdom to recognize and utilize what you already have in your hands to meet your financial needs. Remember, God is the provider of all things.
