Bible Reading:1 Chronicles 16:11-17
Special Verse:
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Bible Reading Several years ago, God spoke to me to put in an application and I obeyed. After that all hell was let loose on it. I kept receiving one denial after another. At a point, feeling extremely discouraged, I heard the Lord speak to my heart. He told me that although man said no to me, he hasn't told me no. I stood on the promise that God doesn't change his mind and now my application is being processed.
The word of God was written in advance with us in mind. God being who he is, unchanging and omniscient foresaw our challenges and chose to make us promises. He isn't petrified because of our problems wondering how he will be able to keep to his promises. Remember that God can't fail or lie, whenever we fail to receive what was promised, we must look inward and find out where we missed it. Also. man's no isn't an indication that God has said no.
Finally, when faced with challenges, don't let them consume your thoughts. However, be MINDFUL of his covenants. Let his promises and everlasting covenants be your mind's preoccupation. That way God grows bigger in your thoughts and faith will arise in your soul to face every giant of unbelief. That is how you receive your answer.
