No Battle No Promotion

No Battle No Promotion

Bible Reading:  Esther 8

Special Verse: Esther 8:1;

That same day King Xerxes gave Queen Esther the estate of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came into the presence of the king, for Esther had told how he was related to her. 2 The king took off his signet ring, which he had reclaimed from Haman, and presented it to Mordecai. And Esther appointed him over Haman’s estate.

For every battle we choose to fight and not pretend as if it's not our business, there is a reward. In the Bible days, when ever people went to war and won, they came back with the enemy's loot. No war, no looting or promotion. The implication is that attacks from the enemy can actually be opportunities for increase and promotion. Every trouble that comes against us, are what we can overcome, they aren't beyond us. We quote Proverbs 13:22 - A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.

The unbeliever's wealth doesn't just drop in our laps. We must arise and take action GO. Esther and Mordecai both took risks, they put their lives on the line and were eventually rewarded. Their risks were for a people destined for destruction not themselves.
What price are you ready to pay for the lost? Preaching the gospel for the salvation of souls is our responsibility. If we do it, we will reap riches and promotion from God.
