For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Beloved, we should always remember that God doesn't prosper laziness. There has been a tendency for the body of Christ to think that God will prosper people even when they refuse to work. You may spend a lot of time praying for financial breakthrough, and debt cancellation but will not step out to work, that is efforts in futility. We may also think that money will just show up for us when we won't work. God has promised to bless the works of our hands. It is the diligent hand that rules not the lazy one.
After we have prayed, we must step out in faith and find something to do. Work is not a curse but a blessing. God gave Man work in the garden of Eden, as one of his blessings. Today, learn to be grateful for the work you do and watch God use it to open greater doors for you.
