Pray Do Not Worry

Bible Reading: Philippians 4:1-10

Memory verse: Philippians 4.6, “Be anxious for nothing , but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

One thing I have learned is that with God anything means anything, so I have no excuse for worry. Secondly, be specific in your request make it clearly known to God. Thirdly, thanksgiving means not just thanking him for an anticipated answer but also for previous victories. When you take time to think about all your past miracles and thank him, anxiety will fly out of your life.

Thanksgiving is a faith builder. It puts your challenges in the right perspective. It reminds you of what God did in the past and encourages you to trust him again. When you are in the middle of a challenging situation, it is easy to forget your past victories. Constantly focusing on your troubles create anxiety but when you chose to practice the things I listed above, you will notice a difference in your mindset. Try them toda
