Press on; the Word Will Produce Fruit in You

Press on; the Word Will Produce Fruit in You

Bible Reading: Mark 4: 3-8

Memory verse: 2 Peter 1:8,“For if these qualities are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Our responsibility as children of God is to add to our faith qualities that reflect Christ. The daily steps taken in this direction are more productive than an exciting program you attend. As you daily seek and obey God. Be sure, you are making progress whether you feel it or not.

Once my 22 year old son noticed that his leg was swelling up and doctors couldn’t figure out what was causing it. Eventually, a scan showed a fast growing tumor and the doctors were sure it was cancerous. To God be the glory, the tumor disappeared without treatment to this day. Throughout the time we of the challenge, I noticed that my son and I had the peace of God that passed all understanding. It was because of the word of God we chose to meditate on. If you will persist in the word, you will produce fruit in due season, so do not give up but press on. Your efforts will be richly rewarded in ways you never dreamed.
