Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
BIBLE READING :Every religion on Earth teaches us that we need to do certain good deeds to get into heaven or achieve eternal peace. Unfortunately this has also created the Christian religion which works against the Christian faith. Jesus told the Jews (Mark 7:13). Our bunch of rules and regulations, incapacitate the word of God. No body can achieve peace with God through doing good or keeping a set of rules. We can never be good enough for a relationship with a holy God. We must repent by understanding that Jesus is our only hope and payment for sin.
Salvation and peace with God is a free gift offered to us through the death of Jesus on the cross. This must be received by faith in Jesus as your one and only savior. The name of Jesus is the only name given on Earth by which we might be saved. Even after you receive Christ into your life and become a new person in Christ Jesus (born again), it is still the same thing that saves you. We don't need good works to get into heaven, but we need them to be rewarded.
Today as you hear these words don't harden your heart, simply invite Jesus into your heart and confess him as your savior and God. Once you do these you are saved and can start a relationship with God.
