BIBLE READING : 1 CORINTHIANS 4:13-18
Special Verse: Psalm 107:2
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
If you are like me, you probably didn't know there's a noun - "say-so". I discovered it today as I was trying to google to find Psalm 107:2. The meaning of Say-so is very interesting and lines up with what the Bible teaches. It means -authorization, seal of approve, consent, permission and endorsement. This is very interesting.
Think about it. We all speak an average of 15,000 words in a day. The question is what are these words saying? For many people, a large percentage of these words are negative and full of gossip. Some phrases people use when gossiping are:
Did you hear.........?
Can you imagine.....?
This is amazing.............?
I must tell you this........
If we can consciously use these prompts and end them with the promises in the word of God, they will become our say-so, giving God permission and a seal of approval to change the circumstances in our lives.
A few examples are - Did you hear that Jesus Christ was made poor that I through his poverty might be abundantly supplied?
I must tell you this, "Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world."
