Bible Reading: Mark 5:35-39
Memory verse: Mark 11:23, “For assuredly I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
I am learning to see trouble from a new perspective. As a child of God, trouble should never take you out, although that is the reason the enemy sends it your way. When Jesus instructed his disciples to get in to the boat and go to the other side of the lake, he knew a storm of hurricane proportion was on the way. He expected them to exercise their faith over the storm because he had fully equipped them with his word. A test is in effect and opportunity to prove God’s faithfulness to Satan. We must not let challenges intimidate us.
Having the word of God is as effective as God being present with you physically, So, knowing God’s word in every situation is the game changer. Imagine the creator of the whole universe in your mess. He doesn’t care how bad or big it is; your deliverance has been promised ahead of getting into it. In addition to that, your promotion is confirmed as you come out of it. Wow!!!!!!!
Cheer up, the only thing you need to do is to call upon him and he will answer you. It doesn’t matter whether you caused it or you were busy minding your own business and Satan brought it your way. Just call on him and declare God’s word over the problem.
