The Gift of Salvation Through Jesus
Bible Reading : Romans 10:1-12
Special Verse: Romans 10:9 —
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Salvation is not something we can earn. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Imagine owing a debt you could never repay. If someone paid that debt completely on your behalf, you would have a choice: accept the payment or reject it.
That is what Jesus did for humanity. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross, taking the punishment that belonged to us. On the third day, He rose again, proving that sin and death had been defeated.
The Bible explains this beautifully:
2 Corinthians 5:19 — “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.”
Through Jesus, God restored the opportunity for humanity to be reconciled with Him. God is no longer holding your sins against you. He is offering you the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus.
Salvation is a gift. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Himself declared:
John 14:6 — “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Those who receive Him receive eternal life and become children of God but those that reject him will have to pay for their sin eternally separated from God in eternal torment.
