Bible Reading: Mark 16:15-20
Memory verse: Acts 4:12, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men[c] by which we must be saved.
The message of the gospel is good news, it does not condemn but brings hope to the sinner and a hopeless world. It has the power to deliver, heal, restore and save. Although the gospel doesn’t condemn, when properly presented, it exposes the wretchedness’ of the sinner. After which it points sinners to the cleansing power in the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. It never condones sin or makes an excuse for it. It presents an opportunity to make a choice either to accept or reject Jesus as lord and savior. It clearly points out that no amount of good deeds can qualify man for a place in the kingdom of God.
All believers are mandated by Jesus to preach the gospel to every creature. Jesus did not come to condemn but give grace (unmerited favor), so that the world through him might be saved.
The true gospel is the only hope for our messed up and hurting generation, get it out to someone today.
