Read Exodus 13:18-22
Special Verse: Psalm 32:8
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”
When God leads you, He provides His light through the Holy Spirit to direct your steps. His guiding presence is always with you, whether it’s day or night. Your responsibility is to seek and follow His guidance. However, be prepared—God doesn’t always lead you down the path you expect or the one that seems easiest. Instead, He directs you along the best path, one that fulfills His purpose and plan for your life.
Consider the examples of Joseph and Jesus. Joseph endured slavery, false accusations, and years in prison before he rose to become the Prime Minister of Egypt, fulfilling God’s purpose to save many lives. Jesus humbled Himself to become man, endured rejection and suffering, and ultimately went to the cross. Through this path of obedience, He was exalted with the name above all names and secured salvation for all.
Be encouraged! The path the Holy Spirit leads you on may not be short or easy, but it is purposeful. Trust that it is the best path and will lead you to the promotion and blessing God has prepared for you.
