Bible Reading : John 10
Special Verse: John 10:27
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
There is a strong correlation between knowing the Word of God and being able to discern His voice. The more you immerse yourself in His Word, the clearer His voice becomes. This is because hearing God’s voice requires faith, and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
Many people struggle to hear God’s voice because they haven’t built their faith through consistent time spent in the Word. It’s essential to understand that the Word is not just text; it is alive, active, and embodies God Himself. When you spend time in the Word, you are spending time with Jesus.
Imagine being in Jesus’ presence when He walked the earth—could you leave without your faith being strengthened? Similarly, when you engage with His Word, you’re in His presence, and your faith grows.
Stop striving to hear God’s voice and instead focus on spending time in His Word. As you do, you’ll find that His voice becomes unmistakably clear.
