The Scripture is Powerful

The Scripture is Powerful

Bible Reading: Genesis 3: 1-7

Special Verse Genesis 3:1 “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

It is counterproductive to  dialogue with Satan on what God said or did not say. Adam and Eve were fully aware who was speaking to them through the serpent but instead of asserting themselves as kings, they were discussing the word with Satan. We use the word to exercise authority not reason with Satan.

Secondly, in the process of trying to explain the word to Satan, we end up adding things to "make it more powerful " just like Eve did. Eve was the one that added "and you must not touch it or you will die". This single phrase completely diluted the word and it lost its power. Today we add phrases like "but, although, if, maybe, I am not sure" and these all genetically alter the efficacy in the word.

Today remember the word is powerful by itself. Adding or removing any part renders it powerless. Stand on the word the way it is and watch it work for you.
