Bible Reading: Matthew 28: 16-20
Special Verse: Matthew 28:18
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Jesus began and concluded His ministry with two key activities—teaching and demonstrating the Kingdom of God. Everywhere He traveled, He first taught the Word of God, followed by miracles, signs, and wonders. Teaching came first because it transformed people’s thinking and ignited their faith to believe in the impossible. After teaching, He manifested the power of God through miraculous works.
This was the same approach Jesus commanded His disciples to follow. If the Church today is to succeed, we must return to the Great Commission: teaching and demonstrating the message of the Kingdom. This dual focus leads to salvation and the raising of true disciples of Jesus Christ.
Without this central mission, the Church risks failing to manifest the sonship for which all creation is eagerly waiting (Romans 8:19). It is time for the Body of Christ to rise and realign with the Great Commission, just as Jesus and His disciples did.
Let us teach, demonstrate, and walk in the authority of the Kingdom, so the world may see and believe.
