Bible Reading: John 1:1-3 Memory verse: Hebrews 4: 12, “For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
This verse comes after the author of Hebrews wrote about entering into the rest of God. The children of Israel could not enter into their rest because of unbelief. They rejected the word of God, and didn’t let it work in their lives. In the same way, we struggle and stress because we will not allow the word to take hold in our hearts. We allow thoughts contrary to the word to dominate our minds and produce doubt, anxiety, heaviness and fear.
Anybody living on planet Earth knows that the world is in trouble. This is no news to Jehovah. God is not surprised by what is happening to the dollar or national economies and your life. Look for scriptures that apply to your situation and superimpose them on your thoughts. Speak them loudly, so the demons will hear them and watch yourself experience peace that passes all understanding. I promise you the word works if you will work it.
