Bible Reading: Ephesians 4:25-32
Special Verse: Ephesians 4:32
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you."
Relationships are often tested by storms. I’ve seen many friendships and bonds broken over a single misstep or offense. It’s essential to remember that no relationship is immune to disappointment or hurt. Judging the value of a relationship solely by one event can lead to missed opportunities for restoration and growth.
Satan despises healthy relationships because he knows God uses them to fulfill His purposes in our lives. Jesus demonstrated this beautifully in His relationship with Peter. After Peter denied Him, Jesus didn’t cast him aside. Instead, He restored Peter, paving the way for him to become a cornerstone in spreading the gospel.
To err is human, but to forgive is divine. As we navigate our relationships, we must pray for discernment and grace to handle offenses wisely. Instead of quickly discarding meaningful connections, be the kind of friend or sibling in Christ who weathers the storms. True friendships thrive on forgiveness, tenderness, and the willingness to persevere through difficulties.
