Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They shall prosper that love thee.
As global events unfold and we draw nearer to the end of the age, culminating in the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, it is essential for every believer to interpret these events through the eyes of the Spirit. Remember, the forces of darkness are actively shaping the news, but your knowledge of the Word will help you discern the times.
The Spirit of God longs to give you an understanding of these times so that you may know how to live accordingly. Consider the example of Israel in prophecy. Israel is the apple of God's eye, and the events happening there are closely tied to the end-time calendar. The church is called to stand with Israel and pray for that nation. No matter how rational it may seem, do not oppose Israel, for in doing so, you oppose God.
Today, let us pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
