We Are Privileged

We Are Privileged

Bible Reading:Esther 4

Special Verse: Esther 4:11

Esther 4:“All the king’s officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that they be put to death unless the king extends the gold scepter to them and spares their lives. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king.”

How do you see your relationship with God the Father, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? Do you realize that you are not just "any man or woman?". Just like Esther, in our thinking we lump ourselves with the rest of the world and forget we have a special place in God's kingdom. We are waiting for God to invite us or do something, yet he did it all by sending Jesus Christ to die for us. Immediately after Jesus breathed his last on the cross, the curtain leading into the Holy of Holies was torn from top to bottom, providing us free access into the presence of God at all times. He also gave us the robe of righteousness to wear (Esther's royal robe), no other person had it. When Esther eventually went into the king’s presence, he received her and she was able to save her people from destruction.

Today and always, do not waste your privileged position in Christ, use it to make a difference in your life and a world that is crying for help and answers.
