Bible reading: Psalm 82: 1-9
Memory verse: Psalm 82:6, “I said, you are gods, And all of you are children of the most High.”
These verses tell us about who we are - Children of the Most High. Most of us are more conscious of our humanity than we are of our God nature, that is what the Bible calls being in the flesh or canal. This is why our lives are subject to all the evil that the devil throws at us. If the world is fearful, you become fearful. The world is sick, you become sick. That shouldn’t be so.
We are small Elohims “gods”. God Almighty gave us a position a little lower than himself and crowned us with glory and honor. Our lack of knowledge is killing us. Ignorance is giving the devil a launching pad to hurt us. Make up your mind to know who you are in Christ, so that you will not die like men. Remember, it is the truth you know that sets you free not religion.
