Many people in the world think that God decides when they die. They believe God can decide to take you out any time He wants. However, Deuteronomy 30:19 clearly states that, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” The book of Proverbs 18:21 also tells us that death and life are controlled by the tongue, and you eat the fruit of your tongue. This means that you choose whether you live or die. Every one of us needs to check what is coming out of our mouth. We say things like “this is killing me”, “I am dead”, “I am only a human”, and we wonder why our bodies aren’t responding to the word of God. I don’t know what you are facing, but you can rise above it if you start thinking in line with the Scripture and making your words align with the Bible. The word of God is the most powerful weapon we have, and we activate it in faith by speaking it continuously. It is time to choose life by speaking life.
