Bible Reading: Bible Reading :Luke 6:12-19
Special Verse: Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Prayer is most meaningful if we see it as a time of communion with God. The Holy Spirit is the one we commune with when we pray. He wants to direct us and show us how to make the right decisions. Jesus only did what he saw his Father do. He also spoke only what he heard from the Father. Imagine if we all adopt this lifestyle. All we say and do is what we have seen from the Father.
That is the only time we will see the supernatural manifest in our lives. You can not copy someone you are distant from. Now I'm not talking about physical distance. God the Holy Spirit is always with us. Jesus promised that he will abide with us forever. However, you can distance him in your thoughts by ignoring his word and not making it your central focus. You can also do so by not creating time to spend with him. From today choose to start experiencing sweet communion with the Holy Spirit. Open up your heart's door to him today and let him in for fellowship.
