We need to fear God because he's our judge and that will help you do what is right. When we fear people, they influence our choices but because we don't tear God, most Christians end up living a life of sin. They fear their boyfriends living so they start sleeping with them. We fear loosing our jobs so we skip church instead of obeying the Word of God. You can get the fear of God by spending time in his word. The Bible admonishes us not to fear what others fear. The only person we should fear is God. In having the right kind of fear towards God, it becomes a positive emotion because it yields the right result in our lives.
